Vythiri Park | Wayanad

Vythiri Park - Adventures and Holidays, a project of VSharp Promoters Pvt Ltd, formed with the aim of setting up projects in the tourism and hospitality sector, will break ground in March 2021 next to National Highway 766. Located at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level, Vythiri has a much cooler climate than other parts of the district, making the location of the park more suitable. The first phase of the project at a cost of Rs 12 crore was inaugurated in September 2022.

Vehicular traffic will not be allowed into Vythiri Park, which is located near NH-766. Instead, vehicles should be parked in the parking area set up next to NH-766. A wide parking facility has been prepared here. There are parking facilities for bikes to buses. From the parking area, vehicles prepared as a part of Vythiri Park should enter Vythiri Park. It is only a 5-minute journey from the parking area to Vythiri Park. Vythiri Park is located at a small elevation. The vehicle facility operated by Vythiri Park is completely free. The vehicle journey ends near the ticket counter of the park.

Tickets can be obtained from the nearby ticket counters to enter the activities. Passengers' bags and other covers should be handed over at the comfort station near the ticket counters. Vythiri Park does not disappoint anyone. The park welcomes people of all ages. Vythiri Park is equipped with many activities that can be enjoyed and participated in by young children to old age. The specialty of this place is the cheap tickets which are affordable even for common people. Ticket fare is absolutely free for small children and physically challenged. There is a restaurant with a large dining area for lunch and a coffee shop for snacks. The coffee shop and the restaurant are located in the same building. The coffee shop was arranged downstairs and the restaurant upstairs. The coffee shop offers ice creams and a variety of hot and cold food. Jackfruit ice cream and Kantari ice cream are the specialties of this place. The restaurant serves Biryani and South Indian food. But according to the interest of the visitors, not only this, any food is served here.

Water activities should be taken after remembering other activities. It is dangerous to engage in other activities after getting wet. Therefore, it is not allowed. After everything is done, when they reach the ticket counter again, the visitors will be brought back to the parking area in their cars as they were brought. All times are suitable to visit Vythiri Park except during the heavy monsoon season. All weekends and public holidays can be very busy. Onam holidays and Christmas holidays are busy. January to May is the season time. April and May are the months when students from schools and colleges get more admissions.

By Air

The nearest airport to Vythiri Park is Calicut International Airport at a distance of about 82 km. You can easily take a cab from the airport to Wayanad or take a bus from the airport (or nearby) to Wayanad.
